Saxton Blades offers 255mm circular saw blades built as a direct fit for Evolution saws. Our 255mm Evolution Compatible Collection runs from 28T to 100T across flat top grind, ATB, triple chip, and negative rake designs — every blade cut with a 25.4mm bore, so no reduction ring is needed.
255mm Evolution Compatible Saw Blades
255mm is the size Evolution built its table saw and larger mitre saw range around, and the 25.4mm (1 inch) bore drops straight onto the arbor without a ring. The same blades fit any 255mm table saw, mitre saw, or chop saw running a 25.4mm arbor. Every blade has a fully hardened steel body that resists deflection under load, with tungsten carbide tips brazed on at high temperature for wear and heat resistance.
What separates this range is grind, not just tooth count. Flat top grind (FTG) teeth are square to the plate and chisel straight through, which makes them fast down the grain and the right choice for rebates, dados, and half-laps where you want a flat-bottomed groove. Alternate top bevel (ATB) teeth score the fibres ahead of the chip for a clean face. Triple chip grind (TCG) alternates a chamfered tooth with a flat one to spread the load, which is what lets the multi-material blades handle aluminium, plastics, and composite decking. Negative rake tilts the tooth back by 5 degrees, reducing feed pressure and kickback, making it slower, but far more controlled on a radial arm saw or a pull cut.
