255mm Circular Saw Blades

255mm is the classic 10-inch size,  the most widely fitted diameter across sliding mitre saws and site table saws. Because these machines cut against a fixed fence, plate flatness matters. The hardened steel plate is tensioned during manufacturing so it runs true under load and holds its line at mitre and bevel angles, while expansion slots let the steel grow safely as it heats and damp the vibration that leaves chatter marks on the workpiece. German tungsten carbide tips are brazed on at high temperature and ground to an alternate top bevel (ATB) on both the 60T and the 100T, so every tooth takes an equal bite.

All three blades share a 2.9mm kerf and a 30mm bore, with 16mm, 20mm, 25mm and 25.4mm reduction rings in the box — covering both the standard European arbor and the 25.4mm (1 inch) arbor found on Evolution machines and imported saws. Expect around 90mm depth of cut at 90 degrees on a typical 255mm mitre saw.
