FAQ's

Diamond blades are used for cutting stone, concrete, asphalt, marble, bricks, coal balls, glass, and ceramics. Diamond blades have a round steel core with edges that are coated with tiny diamond particles. It is the diamond particles that grinch away at the material and ultimately cut through.

The diamonds used for blades are not real diamonds. They are diamond crystals that are used within the construction industry mainly. The diamonds are artificially made and they are much stronger than real, natural diamonds.

You can use diamond blades to cut wood, but blades such as Carbide-tipped will give you a cleaner finish. Diamond blades may create a rough cut by ripping apart the wood fibres.

The life of a diamond blade really depends on the quality of it and how much, and what materials you use it on. Typically low-quality diamond blades could last around 12 hours of cutting whereas high-quality diamond blades could last around 120 of non-stop cutting.
